I a classroom setting?
Doesnt matter, i would be there to learn...
The classroom setting was just to give people an idea of whether they might be drawn to predominately males or females...
It's a dicey question. You get a room full of guys and you get a load of attention...and unnecessary focus of attention...there might be some performance anxiety...
You get a room full of women and you get cliques ...
Both are my POV...anyway....
I've been in yoga classes where there was only one or two guys... It was fun (for us)...not so much for them...
Well, you know what a yoga class is like...you pay for your class and you are there to learn and it's all about you. You don't pay any attention to anyone else...although you might check someone out by accident...:)
The 2 boys were v awkward and bad...they should never have been there... Why would someone put a friend in that kind of uncomfortable position? One of them even fell over...and looked over at me with a sheepish grin...
LoL perhaps someone told them they could meet girls in that class... I think not. Wrong class!
I'm surprised they let you watch...that can make some people feel awkward...:)
At the work gym I took a guy aside once and told him: John...you don't stare at the women...you glance...get used to just glancing... Staring makes people uncomfortable...
Women were starting to complain...:)
I went to an all boys school for most of my life and it was complete insanity and i learned nothing except how to survive the monkeys at the zoo. For my last two years of high school I enrolled in an all girls school that was wanting to become co-ed so for the first year I was the only guy, and finally no more violence, no stupid practical jokes, no bullying just mostly a calm logical learning environment.
I never would have got the marks to get into College if it wasn't for that school
Honestly it really doesn't matter as long as the class is fun.
Last class I took that was all guys was in high school when I took a mechanical engineering and woodworking class.
Freeranger finds himself....
As I said: FR finds himself....:) Lucky you.
I'm Bi but I prefer women. Mostly because I just like their bodies better and they don't have icky hair. Also they are less mean and dominating and I need to be the boss! :P But I hang out with either so long as they dont act all uppity
Not everyone is from NY... Jan. :)
It doesn't matter.
I'm most drawn towards personalities, and would predominantly want caring, friendly people that like to help one another.
Sexually attracted to women, but if we're talking about conversations then it's easier for me to talk with men, because we think more alike and have a different way of talking, that can be more open and straight forward at times.
Predominantly females but not entirely.
It's kinda hard for me to imagine which sex im drawn to as a class, I'm drawn to women but if I'm in class I'd feel odd if everyone but me is a woman like I accidentally went in the women's bathroom and everyone of them is glaring at me.
You would walk into a woman's bathroom...probably on purpose....perv...:)
Miss you! Too busy bein a dentist?
It all depemds on the class. If it's a self defense class, I'd rather be matched up against people my own size and strength. If it's a writing class, it wouldn't matter. If it's a dance class, I'd like to be the only guy in the class.
You don't mind women all attempting to lead?
LOL.. Not at all. My insecurities aren't really in that area. I have never really felt like I was in competition with women. No point to it. Some things they do better than me, some not as well, and others it makes no difference.
Hmm... Insecurities...hmm.... Which area are your insecurities in...?
Well, you know, it's a tough question. I once took a physics class with all guys and it was wonderful. We were all really concerned about one train leaving Chicago at 34 mph and another train leaving Poughkeepsie at 52 mph. Then some girls came, and suddenly it was all about buffing your shoes and keeping your hair combed and watching your foul mouth. The only thing more important than the presence of girls is whether the building is on fire.
