Lame Stream Media and celebrities thought they could sway people to vote their way....It didn't work...they cried..and are still crying..
Sooner or later they'll learn, the majority of people aren't buying their crap..
How about this novel idea. When news is published, you have to prove it is true, instead of making someone prove it is false. I think a lot of lies would fall by the wayside.
And Hell yah! Part two! :)
Trump is certainly calling the reporters out, but the problem is far deeper than reporters simply spinning facts, showing bias or unfairly reporting things.
Back in the '70s the CIA was found to be placing agents in MSM news outlets to spread propaganda...they claimed that practice was discontinued. If anyone believes that, may I suggest you pull your head outta your ass?
Bush admits government-made news videos are being presented by the MSM as their own reporting. (Corporations do this as well, and as advertisers they wield great sway over the MSM.)
Newscasters agree: A Christmas present, or two or ten. There are multiple examples of this on YouTube. And yes, it is real, I have seen news anchors I recognize on several of these from both Flint and Detroit stations.
There's nothing wrong with holding the media accountable and not letting them get away with lies, but at the same time we have to be careful not to stifle freedom of the press. One of the key things a dictator does is censor and stifle the press (and eventually comes to completely control it). Not saying Trump is a dictator, but people have to be careful that the line between calling out the media for BS and stepping on freedom of the press isn't crossed. The media prints plenty of truth along with the crap; it's up the individual to sift through it. But if we all just yell "fake news!" any time something critical of the administration comes out, we're just trading one form of propaganda for another. I think we can keep demanding the truth without immediately assuming the news must always be a lie.
The MSM has been soo lousy for so long... Honest non partisan journalism is a tongue in cheek joke. They shall all disappear soon.
Most people just want to be told what they want to hear. They just want to hear their opinions validated. They don't notice bias if it is biased to agree with what they already believe. That's part of what makes finding good journalism difficult.
So media...I opened to find out...ha... I guess... I hope he keeps it up...:)
Even the HuffPo admits that hardly anyone trusts the media any more.
