What has been your best find?🛍
Ain't a thing wrong with that lol
Our neighborhood association sponsors two garage sales each year, one in June, the other in October. So I like to walk around the area, just to see what's going on. It's rare when I buy anything. But I am getting stuff ready for the sale this year in June. Trying to get rid of a lot of stuff that I don't use anymore....
I need to have one before I move. I realized as I was trying to figure out where to start packing first that I have way to much stuff I just really don't need. I got about a month and a half to get it figured out and all packed.
Last time I tried I ended up giving a lot of it a away. I neighbor down the street had just lost his job and they had a baby on they way. Thankfully they were having a girl and I was able to give them all kinds of girl clothes, plus car seats, and a high chair.
Packing is a tough job, I kept thinking, I might need this or that someday...lol But we were moving into an apartment for 6 months while our house was being built, so I got rid of a lot of things.
That's good that you could help out your neighbor...I'm sure they appreciated it.
It seem like I have more today than what I got rid of a year ago lol
They really did plus it was less I had to bring back in lol
I think this time what doesn't sell, I'll take to the Goodwill.
That is a really great idea. I think I might do the same.
It beats hauling all that stuff back in the house. lol
Getting ready for a garage sale takes a lot of time and effort, and it would be easier just to take it all to a consignment shop or the Goodwill. lol
Oh I agree it takes so much work and I live in an area that it is hard to find unless you put up a lot of signs lol
That would be hard.
I might be an avid looking but not a avided buyer.
yeah its fun
I always work on the weekend so I drive by yard sales on my way to work, but I never get an opportunity to stop. If I ever go to one, there seems to be nothing I want or things I can't haul in my little car.
