I agree, then I'm sure they would change their mind.

Yeah I'm not sure we really need to invest that much into protecting any one person.

He's also accomplished more than Obama did in a year.

@Maze He's also accomplished more than Obama did in a year.

Not really, he's basically just picked up where Obama left off... passing illegal executive orders... which was the weird part of this last election because either way the people where getting Obama 2.0

Hillary and Obama agreed with each other on a lot of politics, while Trump and Obama have almost no experience and just randomly pass illegal items and pray they can get pass the courts.

@Zolfie Not really, he's basically just picked up where Obama left off... passing illegal executive orders... which was the...

8 U.S. Code § 1182 - Inadmissible aliens

(f) Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by President

Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.

@Maze 8 U.S. Code § 1182 - Inadmissible aliens (f) Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by...

I'm sure you know laws get changed and amended, and that you have to use the updated versions of the law...

I believe you're quoting a 1952 act has been amended many times and was modified substantially to become the Immigration and Nationality Services Act of 1965, which changed the law to make Trump's actions currently illegal.

Just like alcohol was illegal for a while and then future laws changed that. Got to use the most up to date version, which is why it was illegal.

@Maze No, that is THE LAW, as it presently stands.

Which has since been partly overridden by a newer law law modification in 1965.

@Maze The document I shared is the current US code.

I know what you're saying... but the legal system is disagreeing with that point of view at the time being.

@Zolfie I know what you're saying... but the legal system is disagreeing with that point of view at the time being.

It's judicial overreach - legislating from the bench - and as with 80+% of the ninth circus's rulings, it will be overturned.

@Maze It's judicial overreach - legislating from the bench - and as with 80+% of the ninth circus's rulings, it will be...

You could be right, but like I've said I think that 1965 act overrules that part of the 1952 act.

Even if I'm wrong about that, I still believe the orginial executive order could be found illegal based on other laws possible including the first amendment.

Of course I believed the way Obamacare act was written (as far as forcing people to enroll) would be found illegal (as my understanding is that only states were suppose to have that power) and I was wrong about that.

And even then I'd still put Obama's and Trump's questionable use of executive orders in the same grouping... that's just my opinion that both lack the experience to work the political system in the normal fashion and so they're turning to over use the executive order instead (just my opinion, not a fact).

@Maze He's also accomplished more than Obama did in a year.

Obama signed in a bunch of executive orders.. just because you didn't agree with them doesn't mean they didnt exist haha.

Nor does it help your highly subjective and, not surprising, not proven with data claim of Trump doing more than Obama did in an entire year.

Oh gosh, I love the thinking process of conservatives haha

OH. Btw, promoting Ivankas products shouldn't count as the administration doing something for the country, hun. :)

@Mcfly Obama signed in a bunch of executive orders.. just because you didn't agree with them doesn't mean they didnt exist...
