Interesting Sunday for the Sun, and Monday for the Moon... but I guess I don't see the other days of the week.
I've wondered that myself... And Wednesday s/b Wed-nes-day...:)
When the early catholic church was 'converting the heathens' they used an equivocation technique, Sun = Son, often. They would convince pagans that their 'sun' worshiping holidays were the same as 'Son' worship.
For example the winter solstice marked the coming of the sun, so they made sure christmas - the coming of the Son - fell during the same time.
Sunday is Son Day, the day we go to church to worship the Son.
It is all paganism
The sun is there everyday, weather that light gets to the earth surface or not is a different story.
Thanks for breaking all of that out, goddess of fertility? Interesting :) So Friday is suppose to be fun day after all ;D
Start of the weekend is always a good day
