🦋Not an easy task in my world🦋
Sometimes it takes more strength to let yourself collapse. Just for a moment
That is true too
I like that
I like that, too
At my moms funeral I went around offering people chill pills...some people really needed them...:)
I could have used some of those myself when I lost both my parents.
People were so uptight.....it's a good way of making it through a very tense environment....
My doc keeps trying to give them to me. I informed him I was perfectly fine, I just needed people to stop pissing me off. One day he will learn.
LOL.... You might think about taking a small amount...store them in your medicinal box .... And keep it for just in case.... Or not.
I've always kept pills for pain on hand...in case you get a toothache in the middle of the night.....
That is a good idea actually.
He always wants to give me Lexapro because it is the safest thing I can take. Sad thing is, it turns me in to a walking zombie that doesn't care about anything.
I know! Sad thing is...once you start down that road...you pretty much have to stay on it....for life!
Oh I didn't think about that
If you have to go down the SSRI road...it might be true
Once you start that might be the beginning or end of you
Sorry...I'm involved in my rhyming game....some ppl need it tho it's true.
It was a rather good rhyme btw
I've had to wait for my meltdown because a life was at stake but boy did I make up for it when it was safe to fall apart.
I know what that's like....
Well, yes, but that's only one example.
"There are many others?" She said, surprised...
The following is NOT an objection to your comment.
Just a little appropriate self disclosure-My first degree is in theoretical physicsas a group, we tend to value preciseness (perhaps too greatly). I construe English grammar and syntax strictly-much like certain physics laws.
You opposed "hold it all together" with "when everyone is expecting you to fall apart."
what about my holding it all together when no one expects me to fall apart, but unknown to everyone I am actually dying inside?
Hey, I occasionally drive my wife and friends insane with these "distinctions." Only my oldest and youngest sons think like I do. (Exposure to me at an early age I guess---along with a similar temperament.
I see part of my answer has been lined through. If what you see doesn't make sense, let me know.
You lined everything through yourself, riight?
It's reassuring that there is someone who thinks the same way...
You are perfect for this site...
If I lined something through, I did so by accident.
What key / button might I have hit?
In order to put a line through a word...you need to put 2 lines before and after a word.... Like LINE
So you must have used two line in your paragraph by accident.... If you spot this you can always change it for about 10 minutes or delete (garbage can) and retype....
Apparently this site doesn't respond to a dash.
This site doesn't respond well to 2 dashes....
Not my desire to have two dashes be equivalent to one dash.
Ah...yes...from the old m-dash... Can't get it on these keyboards...
And then if you use office and want a "long" dash, you use 3 and office converts it.
I learned to type on a manual typewriter, (Was life simpler then, or did I just have fewer options?)
Someone tried to tell me that the clacking of the older typewriters was a soothing sound to her....ha...
Yes...maybe...but what about the swearing? And liquid paper makes no sound, of course....
The sound never stood out to me, but I remember movies of the era that had scenes with steno pools had that sound.
