I might give a few people some money. That being said I'd never tell them where I got it.
I would tell a select few, based upon my own criteria.
I would tell nobody. :)
I suppose it depends on how much.
If it is enough to share, im gonna tell my peoples.
If I won a life changing amount, it would be obvious I either won something or suddenly got involved in organised crime. So I'd tell those I knew that I won lotto but I'd tell them I'd won a much smaller amount and I'd give them some gifts proportional in size to what they thought I'd won.
I have a friend who's always been a relatively poor farmer although he owned his own farm outright. Recently he sold his 14,000 acre farm to Chinese investors for just under 10 million as he was getting too old to maintain it and they offered him about 25% more than what the domestic market were offering. Now suddenly he has all these new friends and endless girl friends even though before he sold it, few wanted to know him. I think he should have said he sold it for 1 million.
I like that. :)
My son, then we would make an appointment with a financial planner. After things were settled, I would tell the rest of the family, of course they wouldn't believe me. lol
Nobody, they would all want spmething.
