Get one worthy of the position and she'll win..
We'll get along fine, if you chose not to forgive us..
Well, it's been hard on me, too...Dandy....
Why is that?
I'm an Empath.
Well, hang in there, it'll be okay..
I think most Americans could care less if it was a woman or a man. We just want the "right" man or woman. Hillary wasn't that person and I hope Trump will be.
I could care less about whether our president is a man or a woman.
You've gotten used to having men run the country....it's not as much of a need for you....
Hope...what is that anyway...not a verb, not a noun...it's a nothing word...
Keep hoping with a nothing word.
You mean like the the whole thing Obama's campaigns were based on? "Hope and change"
I wasn't invested in Obama's campaign...I came on here at the tail end...
He must be laughing, now, tho.
I doubt that. He was used to everyone giving him a free pass on anything he said or did. I think that is coming to a screeching halt.
No reviewing "glory days" with Michele...
You know, Mich...I would have done that differently... Of course...darling! You sure would have...
We may, sukie.
Dont hold your breathe
But dont give up on it either
I turned on my Crystal Ball last night....
Technically we've already had the first female PM, Kim Campbell, Conservative, but she was appointed to the position, not elected.
So, you are saying that a woman, simply because she's a woman should be president, regardless if she's the right one for the job?
As a woman, I am WAY smarter than to vote for someone simply because of race, sex, hairdo, residence, color of eyes, height, weight, how they like their steak cooked, etc. etc.
Thank you Captain Obvious...
That's what was said about the possibility of a black president 9 years ago.
We need a worthy candidate, first. Hillary was NOT worthy!
Gender doesn't matter, Americans just want an intelligent president....not the idiot that now holds that title.
Identity politics is just an excuse to put someone in office for reasons other than their ability to do the job. When a woman is the best candidate, I hope she wins. Hillary Clinton was not the best candidate, and frankly I think it would have been a shame for one of the most corrupt politicians of all time to own the title of first female president. When the day comes when a woman earns that title, and I'm sure it will, I hope she exemplifies everything I like and respect about the US, not the opposite.
vote for who is best not for skin color or gender, hilary was worse then trump, americans saw that and i applaud them for it
Hey.......speaking of presidents.....
How is that little rotty?
My sister hade a great dane that ate a leather chair, in one afternoon...
Big dogs chew big things
Hard to puppyproof when the doors and furniture look like great chew toys
I bet you do.
I have been fortunate.
Never had an obsessivw chewer.
Nothing i couldnt handle with rawhide
You're not in America.
So? Quit nitpicking...Cezar...:)
I dont get why people are so focused on weather we have a president on race and gender....Why we have people in our government that become wealthy on our expense...Why?
Because most everything here is for profit.
Even our future.....
Aren't you Canadian Sukie? Still I think Clinton didn't get elected because of who she is, then again both were terrible. If I was American and if Obama's wife was a candidate I'd vote for her but not Hilary or Trump. I couldn't care less about the sex of a president or a prime minister ( since we're a constitutional republic) as long as they are the right person for the job.
I think it'd be a horrible decision to vote for a female candidate just because she's a woman or any criteria of a persn that has nothing to do with their ability to run a country.
Of course...but Hillary is qualified.
Do you know how unlikely that is...to find a woman who is qualified?
I don't know what qualities a person should have in order to be deemed worthy of presidency, but the ratio was good, the 4 candidates in the end were 2 men and 2 women.
Hillary has a background in politics from about the age 12.
I do not put her qualifications in question, and it's not always that, there was talk about her health and shady secrets with e-mails.
I guess you never listened about all his (many) shady secrets...and income taxes....
I didn't say that I like Trump either.
Personally...in the ethics department they are both equal.
As in both horrible candidates, the US screwed up this time.
No kidding, eh? What were they thinking?
We will just have to sit back and see if they picked the wrong one. ;)
It's interesting how divided the nation is, one half is euphoric and happy while the other side acts like the world is over and riot.
In reality they should all be wondering... I mean...Turnip is about 70...right? He must have to spend most of the morning concentrating on his bowel movement....
Yeah, even queen Elizabeth II who has met half of the US presidents during her reign is blushing at that fact.
Trump should be rushing to meet her...ha...altho not funny and we should both be shot....ha...
What else is new... Even ripping the US govt to shreds gets boring after a while...huh huh.
Exams? New courses? Exciting ppl?
every time you vote for less of two evils the next time round its always more evil
that does not make her good, she did nothign good while in politics and sure screwed up in massive proportions, causing tons of damage. years of experience does not mean good PERIOD!
the obama's sucked too, Trump is better then Obama and way better then Hilary,
We HAVE a female president. She is HILLARY CLINTON. She won by 3 million + votes. She is MY president.
NO WE DON"T because the US does NOT elect its President by popular vote, but by the Electoral College, per Amendment XII of the Constitution of the United State of America and ratified in June 1804. To say Clinton is your president indicates either you don't know the Constitution or you don't follow it.
