Happens to me every week.
I went with a list of 9 items. Got a little cart, had to leave with a full sized one.
Eat first and make an appointment for after.
Do you all have expensive tastes? I was at the grocery last week and picked up a bunch of stuff it was under 20 bucks. I am somewhat lucky only myself to feed and I know how to cook from scratch. If you don't buy meat eating isn't so expensive. The dollar tree has lots of canned goods cheap. Good luck to everyone go vegetarian to save money :)
Unfortunately, i am an omnivore.
And, i have an elderly morher, four cats and two dogs.
Shit adds up fast!
Oh dog food yep 20 bucks a bag for my pup and she eats more than any dog i have ever owned. Still she is a skinny mini.
Yes energy abounds that small dog can pull my arms out when she runs to the end of the leash. She is still young and full of energy or the devil
I just buy my beer and leave. 乂^◡^乂
What about popcorn?
Gotta have popcorn....
Right popcorn is a major item in my diet. Clean kernels microwaved with no fat or salt, that isn't too bad or too expensive.
I like the no or thin kernel kind also.
Right no salt I got used to it gradually and now I really like it that way, movie popcorn with all that junk has no appeal when you get used to clean food it ha its own taste a little burn is good adding flavor. Never heard of amish popcorn but i will study on that.
I get it at a produce place in town.
I detest theater popcorn.
Even without the butter, it is poor.
I can eat butterless popcorn and often do.
The salt though would take time to wean from.
A little burn does add a nice flavor. But just a bit. I use an air popper, so only get that extra flavor when visiting someone who offers popcorn and it is microwaved.
Grocery and drug stores are the worst...
Even our little despencaries have 10 to 15 strains.
Even when you know, how do you choose?
I usually go to one place. It has different stuff all the time.
I ask the fellow that owns it what he is smoking. I get one indica and one sativa, or, a hybrid.
I have a huge variety here at home.
A young me would be impressed. Or in awe.
Weed has come a long way, baby....
You can actually do that in Seattle? Madre de Dios.
Always french. I have to look up alot of those.
Work, work, work......
Just Mother of God common swear words in another language...lol...Spanish?
Lucky you people....I can't wait.
My chest freezer DOES NOT stand empty!
I want to know how you got out of there with only paying $200.
I had a list!!
Lists are only a starting point.
The are supposed to restraints.
I expect too much from a used envelope.
LOL I can go into Home Depot for a roll of duct tape and it ending up being $300 when I leave the store.
The list is long, but distinguished. (If I had $300 worth of duct tape in may garage I'd be the envy of every guy in the neighborhood)
I think it would probably scare some women knowing a guy had that much duct tape in his garage. <s>
Not this woman.
Duct tape......a variety of colors, strengths, weather resistence and usage.
You would come across to me as prepared
Now thats a whole different story.
I have 32 measuring tapes. That is just a glimpse of my tool sickness.
Discipine is not my forte.
I have an exceptional work ethic, very disciplined. Beyond that, i am a mess
Oh every time I shop I spend about $250 and that is just for myself and three kids
Me too. I go to the store to get some cheese, spend 150 bux, and forget the cheese. The Scratch 'N' Dent store is my downfall. Everything there makes me say "Aw, this stuff is SO cheap!"
And then I see something I hadn't even thought of, like eggnog. I love eggnog! I haven't had any in years! I bought all they had, ten quarts. Hey, it's only fifty cents a quart. I might never see food that cheap again! OMG, there's black eye peas, twenty five cents a pound! I buy all they have, twelve pounds. So what if there's a hole in the bag? Bugs don't eat much.
And that is how I spend a hunnerd an fifty bux and forget whatever it was I went out to buy.
