Because he doesn't really answer to anyone like the other super powers and Russia is an advanced country with a lot of resources. JMHO!
Because he doesn't take any bullshit from crybabies, whiners, protesters, and minorities. Men are men, women are women, right is right, and wrong is wrong. He has HIS country united.
Sorry, it's true.
He being the most powerful is debatable. If he is it's because he doesn't have to answer to a Congress or judicial branch. The United States has the most powerful military, not Russia.
Because he's the President of Russia.
Most powerful? Doubtful. What power he does wield was summed up well by Will, though.
That NK/Japan link is complete bullshit.
If you want my analytical brain to work, properly, that kind of shit is not going to do it for me. Before that, I still want to be a dick about that starting point. First of all, North Korea is a fly on the wallpaper. Japan has no army, it only has defense forces and yes, they have a lot tech power, but since they were in an actual war with the reddies, they are not very helpful, when it comes to any global issues. Sorry to disappoint you.
Well, anyways... Why is Putin so powerful? First of all, we have to dig deep into his past. He was a child, probably. Then he grew up, went to the army and then... He came out as the perfect candidate for KGB to recruit. So, they recruited him. He was good and honest with his work, fiddling about with many evil doings and now that he is the one to lead his country, he really knows how to fiddle.
Connections. That is the main plural we are here to seek about.
That is what makes him so powerful.
Who says he is? All I know of him is that he is pushy greedy and ugly looking.
Who says he is? I bet there are businessmen who have more power that that ugly old man
Time magazine voted him the most powerful man in the world
