Yes until they win and give you none of it, then you feel sad

You're right, it's more suited to a Kris Kindle - kind of work present, where you are told to buy something for $5 etc
I don't mind getting them as a gift. I normally add them in with something small

I always buy some at Christmas and before opening presents, I let everyone draw one from a basket....it's a lot of fun. No one has hit big yet, but one never knows.
If you win it's great for you...if you lose it turns out to be a nothing thoughtless gift.
Depends on the recipient. What do you get an 80 year old that likes to gamble and doesn't want anymore stuff? They loved the tickets, others wouldn't. Know who you are giving them to.
Otherwise it's a nothing thoughtless gift.
