Very smart, lovable and doesn't shed.
Me too! I'm a huge dog lover. I have two now. Rodger is a Rhodesian Ridgeback, he's twelve. I swore I would never get a boxer after my little guy passed. Yet here I went to the pound and picked out a Rhodisian Ridgdeback, boxer mix. He's two and a real handful. We love him, however he's a lot of work😊
Golden Retreivers are like the supermodel of dogs except not sexy and a dog
Black and Tan Coonhound
I like all of them, but love my plain old mutt best of all.
German Shepherd, and Collie.
But what I really want is a wolf.
I had a hybred, dru.
She was amazing
Unlike any dog i have ever had
Different spirit, that is the only way i can describe her.
I bet she was stunning. I agree, wolves are not dogs when it comes to their spirit.
Sounds like she was very loved.
Beautiful creatures. God sure knew what he was doing when he created the wolf. :)
They are special
She was half german shepherd.
Not huge like some
But she looked like a well fed
(She was) grey wolf.
And she WAS wolfy
Had her for 16 years
I am not a big fan of hybredizing
But, after loosing my elkhound,
Someone told me she was with
a woman that couldnt bond with her
I went to meet her, got her to come to me with food, and took her home
She was about four months
Took about a month to become close
Lots of time and patience.
I teckon that is why i really dont think they should be available.
Much different then a dog
The play is different, cannot trust them with strangers. But they love and are loyal to their pack(family)
Cant expect one to sit and stay.
If you ask for her to come, she will likely do so, just to run off again.
I had her in about an acre of fencing.
She would come in to visit, hang out a while. But her choice was always to be outside.
She always wore a smile, even when she got her cancer. Bone cancer in her shoulder is what was ultimately her demise.
But, she had a good life.
I miss her
You saved her life. Chances are, she would have been cast off to a sanctuary of wolf-hybrids. Many are abandoned because people aren't educated to handle the wolf personality. They are very sensitive, independent, and mysterious animals.
And they should remain a mystery.
She was very lucky to have met you.
Thank you dru
Second time i have tears on this thread
You will see her again, my friend.
A staffy... or Staffordshire Terrier. A pure bred one has such a great personality.
Any and all
Love my pom
German Shepherds and Black Labradors are my favorites, but I have a spot in my heart for Corgis.
Bear was actually played by three different dogs, for some reason. I had no idea they are so popular, that you can't use just one for six seasons.
I've met a lot of dogs. I can say for absolute certain that the best dog breed is the one you love.
I agree. I've had people tell me. If there is an after life. They would love to come back as one of my dogs😊
Some of us are naturals at loving animals!
All of these. I'm choosing German Shepherd because that's the one I had while growing up.
Wire fox terrier. The best dogs of all in my opinion.
. This is their normal activity level.
