I'm not even gonna debate people here I'm just here to laugh my ass off
The National Review is hardly a credible news source on this subject since it leans heavily to the right.
"This bears repeating. The US is arming ISIS in Syria"
June 15, 2014
I don't believe anybody here ever thought that, but I suppose I could be wrong.
I was gonna put the Obama=Satan thing up but I was almost terrified to know if we had anyone that mentally deficient
No one with good sense but I'm sure some of those nutcases who supported Trump in his conspiracy birther nonsense would believe it.
This is so funny...thank you Jan.
I wouldn't call Obama a terrorist. But knowing that our government used Al Qaeda members as 'assets' prior to their turning against U.S., knowing that our government has a propensity for ousting duly elected politicians abroad and installing oppressive dictators (to put it kindly) in their place, it would not surprise me in the least if 30 years from now documents evidencing that these "terrorist groups" were a creation of our CIA are declassified.
After all, we ousted Mosaddegh and replaced him with the Shah. We provided Saddam with the chemical weapons used to gas the Kurds. We assassinated Qasim to install Saddam. We worked with Bin Laden to fight the Soviets and he didn't turn on U.S. until we set up Saddam, then killed almost 500,000 Middle Eastern children with sanctions based on Saddam's "war crimes."
It would be nice if none of that was true, but given all of it is, I doubt everything our govt. tells us.
Not me. That's just dumb.
How Obama Caused ISIS [National Review, 2014}
The administration has caused or exacerbated most of the current problems in the Mideast.
The Syria policy of the Obama administration is the main reason for the growth of the Islamic State (or ISIS) – and with it, for the current crisis in Iraq, and for a greatly increased danger of terrorism in Europe and America. Administration policy has fanned the rebellion in Syria and kept it going for three full years, while doing nothing to bring it to a successful close. Sometimes the administration has explicitly tried to keep the rebels in a stalemate with Assad; Secretary of State Kerry said that it was his policy to do just that, in order to promote negotiations and “peace.” The result, so obvious as to make that statement a shameless Orwellianism, has been to keep the war dragging on.
