Not her cooking, I just yearn for her. However, she was a great cook.
I only get to see her 2 times a year so the cooking doesn't matter that much but the smells do bring back memories from childhood. It's always a wonderful time. :)
I miss her terribly .... but when it comes to cooking, I miss my grandma's. Seemed like everyone tried to find an excuse to drop by her home at supper time.
That's pretty cool. :)
There is something to be said about a mother's cooking.
Since I stopped eating meat I mostly cook for myself when I go home
When I was a veg... I mostly carried food around with me...
I miss her greatly. We used to spend time in the kitchen together. I do miss her beans, cornbread, and friend taters with homemade peach cobbler.
Mom made some good stuff though honestly I think she has always preferred my cooking. :)
I prefer my cooking actually!
How does that work, LiVi? I like to cook but lose interest when it comes to eating it....
Her french onion soup is unmatched at even the best restaurants.
