True story: A little girl and her Mommy were out for a walk in my neighborhood when a pit bull charged at them, before anyone could get it off of her, he chewed part of her arm and face away. She'll never be the same.
That's why I hate pit bulls. They are a vicious breed. I know some won't agree with me, but once they see something like that, they would change their tune.
I used to work with a woman that had a pit bull...she used to bring the dog by on occasion and the dog truly was as sweet as could be. But it did get them into a lot of trouble. Their daughter had a friend come over to play...I believe the girl was 4 or 5 years old. She went up to the dog and the dog got excited...jumped on its back legs and its claws proceeded to tear her face up pretty good. Just the sheer size and power of them can do damage without the dog even being vicious. The best that can be hoped is that they find their way into the hands of careful owners.
That's terrible. Most people do think they are a sweet breed, they are just so unpredictable, that I would never take a chance on one of them.
The best I have is a squirrel jumping and latching onto my thigh when I was helping a friend clean out her attic years ago. The little bastard came right out of a box that had been left open.
Yes the pit bulls seem to be a common theme popping up here.
Maybe we can propose some kind of new program to make our homes safer. "Trade-in Your Pit Bull for a Free Yankee Candle Day".
A guy in India took care of this tiger for years... Once, passing with a friend, he said...I'll show you how much this tiger likes me... He stuck his hand in the cage... Next minute...hand gone!!
Sounds like the tiger thought he was delicious!
When my brother was seven and I was three, a bluejay tried to dive-bomb us every time we went outside for a couple of weeks. I guess it might have been a mom with a nearby nest she was protecting .... but it was really scary for a little kid!
I just knew someone would have a blue jay story....those birds are no joke. They will pop up around here occasionally and they are extremely territorial.
You attacking me on Amirite is bad enough.
A black lab bit me on the rear at an equestrian centre around a decade ago. The dog belonged to the owners of the facility. The good news was that he wasn't rabid, just restless. Better yet, the owners signed me up for riding lessons at no cost!
I was once chased by a group of angry chickens in 85....it was not a pretty sight, those little suckers can run let me tell ya
😂😂 "back in 85". I pictured them in leggings and a jean jacket.
Now I am picturing chickens wearing leggings and jean jackets
