Yes and I completely learned what not to say to an officer
A few times over the years. If I was speeding, they were just doing their job. If it was a sobriety checkpoint, they were doing their job. I never had a problem with the reason, any time I was pulled over.
Yes. That's what my DUI was all about. I blew 1,7 promilles - for some reason Americans have fucked up with this scale as well... They put nils everywhere... I guess that would make point one seven? I have no idea really. I don't understand, why such an advanced bunch of people stays away from the standard SI units. Pounds, Miles, Fahrenheit... All that completely stupid shit. Learn from Canada, assholes.
It doesn't matter what the units are measured in. If you are stupid enough to get behind the wheel after drinking, you deserve the consequences. Crying about it and calling Americans assholes because you don't like laws, just demonstrates a lack of accepting responsibility for your own actions.
No, I did accept it. Gladly. Never did it again.
No matter what I do, or did, doesn't justify using ancient methods of measurement. Such stubbornness usually has only one final outcome. Extinction.
So Americans are going to become extinct because we use miles instead of kilometers? The Brits are going to become extinct because they order a pint of beer instead of calling it 568 ml? Really?
Why doesn't you country just convert to the US system of measurement? Ahhhhh because your country is superior.
Every American knows how long a mile is. Every American knows how much a gallon is.
Should the US and Canada also convert everything to 220 volts so they can be like the rest of the world?
A mile is 1609 metres long.
Both, US and British use a different version of the term "gallon". One is 4,2 or 3,8 litres, depending on the country of origin. Imperial units are not always comparable with the rebels', but that's what Star Wars taught us in the first place.
I actually quite like the 110 volts system used in USA. It makes sense. My country is not superior, but as Borat sang: "All other countries are run by little girls."
I've lived in many different countries and they all believe their country, and their systems are the best. (Or at least they should. Pride in where you live, and your way of life is a good thing.)
When I was a kid, I couldn't have imagined telling someone I liked to race 402.336 meters instead of 1/4 mile.
I actually like the quarter mile. That's all about history and origins of the drag racing. I wouldn't bother to put it in any other way either.
Yes, twice. Both times for speeding.
OH yeah...I hate it...who likes it? Once it was just because on of my lights was burnt out...and they pulled me over just to tell me.... Man.
I've actually have been pretty good in this area. No traffic tickets or citations since 2002. It was an accident and my fault.
I have a Dodge Ram 1500. I love my truck!
The car I was in, not me personally. He was a douche, looking for reasons to justify pulling us over, then got mad when the re weren't any.
Hey Lady!! Nice to see ya GF!
Hahaha! I'm good. Hope everything is going good for you! It's been awhile since we caught up! I miss ya!
I'm on a first name basis with most police in the surrounding 3 counties.... :/
A few. Never one ticket though
A few times for speeding.
