That sums it up..
It was okay. Would I go for a reunion? Not.
No I liked high school but I still wouldn't be arsed going to a reunion.
I liked my time at high school it went very well. 乂º◡º乂
Yes...you are ready to move on.
I mostly enjoyed high school, but was really glad when I graduated. And yes, I've been to one of my reunions. It wasn't too bad, but probably won't go to another one.
I wanted to be out of high school so much when i was there but really missed it after i graduated. I had a great time in hs
I graduated in 1961 and even back then high school was supervised play and continual scolding for trying to act like a human being. Someone called to invite me to a fifty year reunion and I politely declined to participate. I learned politeness by watching movies, not by going to school.
Paul Simon graduated in 1958 and he had the same attitude:
That was a great song, thanks for posting the memory. I had no idea that he was that old.
My Junior year was ok. The Rest Really Sucked!!
My high school time (in the early '60s) was mostly just working hard to get good grades. I didn't get very involved in extracurricular activities or the popular kids' social life and associated activities (except that I started smoking at 13 walking to the bus stop with my greaser buddies). But then when I went to college, that was a whole 'nother story!! Living away from home with no parental supervision!
Maybe you can tell us about college one day...
My experience was an aromatic blend of creativity abound and hormones flying everywhere, social struggles and starting college early, so I will give it a 5 out of 10.
It was better than elementary school (both high schools, I was at) was, so it could have been worse. The first one was sort-of, middle school.
