I would just like for someone to explain where these people come from😘
Working at the register people tend to come all at once like there was some weird mental troop movement. Like LETS ALL GO CHECKOUT WE LOVE WAITING!!!!
I have noticed that. I hate waiting in line...Only so many magazines I can read that I ain't already read somewhere else
Now it is like that if I go to Wal-Mart...100 people in the store and two checkouts open
If I get in a line where there is maybe one person ahead of me, it always happens that there is a problem with their order, a price challenge, etc, and they have to call the manager, and it takes forever. Geez. One man was ahead of me and they had a problem with the price of a jar of beans. I even offered to pay for the beans just to get the line moving.
Bridge and I were at a clothing store and stood in line 45 minutes because the guy wasn't understanding the sale going on then about 2 weeks after that the same guy was in line before us...trying the same thing
OMG, I'm not very patient, I would have probably walked out without my groceries.
If it wasn't for the fact I had chocolate milk I would have
From what I've seen, it seems to be more Costco logic, specifically. Your picture sums it up to a T.
Honestly? Something I've studied for a while. People are like birds, or insects. We flock to food sources without even knowing it. I do actually contribute it to some form of primal sixth sense. It is crazy to actually watch. A business can be completely dead then all of a sudden jam packed busy. A portion of it is subliminal in people's heads. You could have two fast food restaurants literally sitting 100 feet apart. People seeing a line in one drive through vs the other drivethrough empty will go to the drivethrough with the line. They could be selling the exact same food and this would still be the case. It really is crazy stuff.
