Kind of always liked bell-bottom jeans myself. Wouldn't mind wearing them again!
Bell bottoms without a doubt. I already wear ones like it. I wouldn't be caught in a pair of skinny jeans.
I would think Bell Bottoms would be the enemy of someone that tends to be accident prone.
Sadly yes they are...the flair pants I wear now, yes I have got my foot caught in them more than once and hit the ground. Sometimes this occurs when rushing around getting ready because I overslept. When I say putting my pants on is my biggest accomplishment...I ain't really joking
I loved my crinoline petticoats back in the 50's & 60's. I would love to see them come back.
Victorian dresses, I was born in the wrong century. lol
That's just your childhood wish to be a Disney Princess that never went away.
Ummm, never thought about that. lol
I love old homes, always have, big plantations, and I've visited a lot of them. It sounds great, and then I think about how hot it would be to wear those clothes, or how hard it would be to take care of them....then I'm happy to be wearing my shorts and jeans. lol And enjoying my A/C and furnace in the winter.
Whenever I watch a western and see the way people are dressed I imagine how I'd die wearing the same clothes even on a cool spring day let alone out in the near desert, lol. Maybe it's not bad as it looks. People always talk about the difference of the "dry heat" out west versus the heavy humidity.
It would still be very hot....even when I have a pair of jeans on in the summer, I'm miserable.
When I see the western movies, I laugh at the hairdos the women have. They are perfect. lol OK, I know it's in the script, but no woman out west would have hairdos like that. lol
Haha, yea I do enjoy how some movies make it possible for a woman to keep her hair and makeup perfect in 100+ degree temps while living in a town that doesn't have running water.
Exactly, and wake up in the mornings with full makeup on. lol No woman I know goes to bed with her lipstick on. lol
Just looked up seersucker, vic.
Seems it is still in vogue:)
Might have come back in the last few year. Definitely was out in the 80s, 90s, and 00s
My mother was, and is, a fashionable woman. She grins at the "what is in, and out".
She has seen many of the "used to bes" come back as "is"
I'd like to see people dress with some self respect. If you're a woman, we know you have breasts, we don't need to see them unless we're having sex. Similarly for men, as Budwick pointed out, we know you have an ass; so does everyone else, cover it.
I wonder if I would look that pretty with eyeliner.
Hats and dashing capes.
Ooooo capes....that would be awesome.
I go out with long scarves...sometimes...but capes are more nifty.
They definitely come in handy if you want to glide across the city skyline.
Pants, worn at the waist.
Maybe it's just a product of the area I live in but I can't say I really see all that many sporting the sagging pants look anymore. But I do find it hilarious that some places have actually passed legislation against sagging.
I'd like to see bell bottom come back. Not necessarily the huge bells but the good sized flair.
An actual piece of clothes to actually cover something
Orange jumpsuits...Wait, I think they're sill in style.
Miniskirts. Don't know when they disappeared. But damn!
Although I was born far later than that decade, I really love the time era depicted in GTA Vice city which I guess is the 80's? Fancy clothes, rising rockstars, kinda feels bad that I could only see such things in entertainment media
