I'm a liberal...altho a Canadian one. We don't do that.
I agree with all of that; it would be nice to hear some liberals speak out against the violence though.
Okay. It pisses me off when liberals prevent someone from speaking to a crowd. Those people either don't understand are don't agree with (at least) that part of the Constitution. Moreover, it's incredibly stupid. Don't they realize turnabout is fair play?
If Democrats don't like how McConnell used the "nuclear option" to get Gorsuch into the Supreme Court, they only need to look at themselves in the mirror.
Thank you, I try. Conservatives don't turn every protest into a violent riot; Liberals do.
Conservative protesters are burning cop cars, gang beating innocents, and smashing windows?
Like the founding fathers? They were liberals. Bet the King said much the same about their retaliations against British soldiers...
Jerry, i spoke out against the violence in berkley, immediatly. Believed then as i do now. Peaceful protest speaks volumes. Violence mutes the message.
And just so you know.......i clearly remember you wanting for people who were outraged at property damage, including yourself, to arm yourselves and go out to "help" the police.
Somebody has to stop rioters. When they start lighting cars on fire and such, that should be a very serious crime. Response to a crime like this should be very serious. The masks over the faces have to go.
Alright, liberal Canadians get a pass.
That's not a liberal. That's a misguided person.
Really? What is going on in this country doesnt touch me.
No one conditioned me. I can just descern right from wrong with my own eyes, ears and mind.
It would be more accurate to say that a leftist is a person who calls themselves a liberal yet behaves like a classical fascist.
[AmericanThinker.com] Writing in the 1960s, Peter Berger (a Jewish refugee and peace activist from Austria) became involved in a Leftist demo in the United States. He said that
"observing radicals in action, I was repeatedly reminded of the storm troopers that marched through my childhood in Europe".
It wasn’t just these Leftist marches that reminded him of the Nazis, he also said that Leftism (in the 1960s) formed a "constellation that strikingly resembles the common core of Italian and German fascism".
And even in terms of argumentation and rhetoric, the red and brown fascists seemed to merge into one another. Berger wrote:
"There is a near identity between the arguments of [Leftists]…. And Mussolini’s polemics for action against theory, against program."
The Nazi Brownshirts and the Italian fascist squadristi (of the 1920s and early 1930s) were a bunch of street thugs who liked nothing better than a scrap. They also liked terrorizing what they called the ‘bourgeoisie’ by breaking their windows and beating them up. Large chunks of the Left did similar things in the 1960s and 1970s.

Thanks Maze. That helps put it in perspective.
I was concerned about the violence in the 60 and 70s but as this article points out, it was dwarfed by the conservative racial violence against people of color, that violence likely spurred on groups like Black Panthers and the Weather Underground.
So that's your response, you're going to justify fascist behavior? Are you aware that the KKK was affiliated with the Democrat party? Are you aware that the Republican party was formed for the express purpose of ending slavery and followed through on it?
"The Ku Klux Klan was the Terrorist Arm of the Democrat Party" http://blackrepublican.blogspot...arm-of_56.html
Yep I am aware. The so called Dixiecrats.
Nope. Never justify violent behavior.
Not talking about political party, talking about conservatives and liberals.
And a conservative is a person who uses legal means to destroy the world and do the same things
It's absolutely insane that people believe the exact opposite of each other. There has to be a higher power; this shit can't happen by chance. It's just way too much for it to be a coincidence.
You just added to the definition of "Liberal" actually.
