Oh, it's always me
The times I've actually said that, it was never a "lie".
The one time I heard it, yes it was them because they were the issue, the one time I said it was just because I was being polite.
Yea I've used it. Sometimes I've meant it. A few occasions it was just an out. It's a nice generic response when things just aren't clicking but you really can't put your finger on it.
So then it was a lie...
The beauty of that excuse is that it is never really a lie. Even if I despise the other person....it's my despising of the person that is causing me to not want to see them. So it's me.
While I agree...there is the ring of something shoddy. What is it?
Maybe because it comes with the same sting of rejection as being told to fuck off. Even though it sounds nicer.
It is a sucky way of getting out of something but pretending to be heroic.
Well maybe there is some long run heroic to it. Maybe they end up meeting someone that appreciates and truly wants them.
That's only in movies.
I would think it's a pretty common rung on the ladder of the love life to experience failures before success.
Weird? Love to know what you might call weird...
COL. We've got a lot of time....
For me: weird is when a guy takes 15 minutes in the public bathroom after the theatre...and says nothing after...
Ha ha... That is weird...! Creepy as your word. I don't know who wins but yours would be worse on a long term basis.
Best I don't know. D(sigh) I mean we were at a point where we could fart and burp but still...yes. Best I don't know.
Like you said: did I really want to know?
Do I really I want to hear about someone's bowel movement problems? End of that date, fur sure.
Yes... I think we all know what you mean? To explain it would be dreary and painstaking. Altho we've never been bored by your explanations.
