And that's you being subtle isn't it?
You mean... like this?
Having glasses is fun sometimes.
Not very subtle, then?
My explicitness is cocooned in subtlety
Some days mine are not so subtle...especially the last few days.
Subtly isn't a thing for me. I don't do it... at all. I have two settings: blunt and brutal.
But it's never to be mean, it's just that experience hath shewn this to be the most time-saving, contortion-free method of communication.
A woman after my own heart. I doubt either of us suffer fools gladly. :)
And I'm guessing most people appreciate that about you, right? That's been my experience.
The only person I've ever slightly tempered it for was my kid when he was a bit younger, but that usually consisted of me reminding him that there are loads of people like me out there who aren't going to tell him sweet lies to spare his feelings with sugarcoating.
I reaped the rewards the other day when he told me: "Everything you're doing right now is annoying me, but it isn't your fault, I'm just grumpy today."
Well, I'm sure there are a few who would have preferred to have it sugarcoated, but for the most part I find that when you're direct, what you say is clear. No one walks away from me wondering, "What did she mean by that?"
Exactly. Although, I've seen more than a few feign confusion.
That's because they don't want to believe we've told them the truth. :)
That's kinda what I figured, but further confirmation that I'm not the only one who gets that is nice. lol
Consider yourself confirmed. :)
What the Fuck is sublety!? Don't try to make me learn new things! :)
We wouldnt change you for the world. :)
Most of the time my subtlety is quite explicit.
Like when I whisper expletives to myself?
"The Tourettes Whisperer".....coming this Fall.
I'd rather not be brash if I can avoid it, but some situations are beyond subtlety.
What do you mean?
