I had PTSD for a couple of years and with that I had the same reoccurring nightmare around 3am every night. It was exhausting until they finally went away. The worst part was going to sleep and knowing that it was about to happen again.
That would suck. Was it of something you experienced in real life?
Yes I lost my partner of 22 years, my home, career job and pretty much everything i owned in about six months.
Just as Oz... I have PTSD, but my dreams aren't really about the past, they are - sometimes - about the future. I know I'm the stupid clown on this site, but that doesn't worry me. What does is the fact, that I can see forwards. It's not going to be pretty.
Wow, my dreams were just feelings of terror and sadness. I never actually saw any images. That was freaky.
I'm... Sort of... Uhmm... Different than most.
What do you see forwards? That's what I'm talking about....The big one for me was I dreamt when I was about 3 that we all went outside and there above us was an enormous red planet. I was terrified because at this time I had no concept of outer space or planets or anything so I told my mom I dreamt of a big round ball in the sky -she dismissed it as a beach ball or something.in the dream we were all lining up to transport to this planet like it was normal, but I was terrified. That dream has always stuck with me and it blew my mind in 5th grade when we learned about planets.
It's been distorted spaghetti kind of stuff lately. Nothing comprehensive, but then again, time is not a fixed point. In fact, lately certain scientists have figured out to think time as a two-dimensional plane, instead of one-dimensional "line without width". Just half an hour ago, I heard on the telly news (as I was having my breakfast), that Homo Sapiens has been living in Africa 300 thousand years ago, not merely 200 thousand, as previously believed. No biggie, just a half of the previous figure...
Thats vague and confusing....ok, well, where abouts are you from? Ive never called anything a "Telly" except Telly Sevalis...Lol
Oh, that would make me to use the F word... Finland. There, now I've used it. Savalas was less confusing as Kojak as most of his dreams were. Once, he was even nibbled to death by an okapi, in an exceptionally weird dream that started with a smell of daffodils.
Better than dreaming about humping a paper donkey in the back corner wearing a tiera and a smile...
I would love to wear a tiara, but only if I can put my tutu on as well.
Well yeah, that goes without saying...😎
I don't know if I'd call them prophetic but having children I think always lets that paranoia creep into my dreams. Dreams about my kids getting taken, getting sick. All those internal fears that come with being responsible for the safety of a human being.
I dreamed I was awake and at work. I want compensation.
Seriously though? Living underground in a lot of dreams.
Really?Thats odd.,,do you have a bomb shelter, and do you go underground often in real life?
