It's one of those many things, I just can't tell
I can't, but then I don't reply to anon posts. I'm surprised you know about anon posting, since you haven't been here very long.
Like when they post a question under the 'opinion' option?
A person's writing style is very much like a calling card. I find it fascinating that even given humans' creative nature, we struggle to shake off something so simple as our stylistic fingerprint.
I definitely notice the hallmarks of certain authors / posters online. It's harder not to notice the familiarity. I also notice when someone is attempting to imposter an author / poster.
If they keep the same writing style and views, I guess. But there's always the possibility someone is pretending to be that person, so, who knows?
It doesn't take a genius to notice patterns, such as ... when someone who just HAS to keep posting and posting, no matter how nonsensical. Seems the honor system agreed limit is three in a row, back to back, but that's not good enough. Three in a row, and then all of a sudden, here comes an "anonymous" post. Then three more in a row from the original poster. DUHHHHH
Folks...we have a genius in our midst....:)
