The only one I can't bring myself to watch is the Human Centipede. Otherwise I am all for it. Doesn't bother me a bit. I am used to watching gory forklift accidents as research for work.
ty for haring <3
They don't bother me, I just don't get anything from watching them..
You seen one head roll across the floor, you've seen them all..
Haha, that sketch was amazing.
They creep me the fuck out, but I can still enjoy the fear and paranoia they make me feel xD
Scary and gory movies are a lot of fun to watch with friends. Everyone gets creeped out together
I prefer not seeing it, but I can cope with it when it's in context in like a war movie or in a scene that makes sense to a story. But overly gory horror doesn't do it for me. I have seen the human centerpede and still have nightmares from it. Another one that was actually well made, much of it innuendo rather than actual visual scenes but totally freaked me out was a movie called, A Serbian Film.... about a retired porn star who's happily married with a kid but broke and lured back to make one only movie for a huge sum of money.... but the only catch is that he's not able to know anything about the script in advance.
I do enjoy them. Some actually go out of their way to be so gory that it actually becomes funny. Movies like Bad Taste, Dead Alive, Feast.....the gore almost becomes a form of art in those movies, lol. It's just a case of pushing the envelope to see how tasteless a movie can get. You really have to take it at face value....it being nothing more than entertainment. It's definitely not for everyone.
Not as a steady diet .... but I enjoy occasionally being artificially terrified! It revs up the old heart rate.
Because I'm sick in the head. :)
