Tough question. I"m going to go with my high school typing class. My teacher was this adorable Southern belle. She was so proper and polite. It's been 37 years and I still remember the way she talked.
Sweet! One never knows how much of an impression simple things can make in another person life. Thanks for sharing.
No kidding?! Very cool - I'm a woodworker. Do you still make shavings?
There's probably a few. I got my pilot's license once, that was hard work but a lot of fun. When I was in the army, getting my grenade range certification was memorable as it didn't end up like this...
Stuff like this?
I did Heathkits as a kid. This is what I related to. Please don't be offended if I totally missed the mark.
Ahhh, very cool.
So, you don't draft electric for buildings?
Abnormal Psychology. I took it as an elective when I started out at a 2 year university. It's memorable to me because it was the biggest waste of time class I ever took by far.
This, ... this explains so much!
(Diggin the call back too)
Hmm, are you a thinking maybe it's a case of a specimen not being able to understand its origin?
I actually enjoyed the content of the course but the professor was just horrible. Abnormal Psych is a topic you could so much with when it comes to learning and she was just a total bore. Typically if I had actually ended up staying the full time it was because I had dozed off and didn't wake up soon enough to leave early.
No, I was just being an ass connecting ProdigalSon and Abnormal Psychology.
I had some profs like that too. I remember one that taught calculus. He was oriental, I'm not sure he even spoke English, but he could not be understood. When the complaint got to the administration, the solution was to speak the gibberish louder!
I knew you were being an ass.....that's what I was attempting to imply....the "abnormal not grasping the psychology of being abnormal"....my example sucked.
I knew your example sucked.
(Been a fun day - thank you. Gotta go soon.)
Yea I saw it's flying past 4 p.m here on the East Coast.....figured you'd be finishing up dinner and getting ready to call it a night.
The Reid technique
It was something called "Professional Ethics in Workplace Environments"...
The book came with a useful piece of information: "Usually, the driver is driving the car."
