I really don't want to talk politics with anyone if they are gonna be mean and personal about it. I don't enjoy or see the benefit of calling eachother "libtard" or some other dumb thing.
I don't know that I've ever seen comments within a political discussion like,
"I wasn't aware of that, thanks for pointing that out", or
"I apologize for jumping to a conclusion, thanks for helping me to understand" etc...
If everyone thinks they're right all the time it becomes pointless. Then if you get two people who think they've won by whoever makes the last comment, then it never ends.
Because politics today are all about money and power, not governing. It's been that way for decades.
Calmer heads will prevail. If not this little 250 year old experiment of ours will may not last much longer.
Agree. And I'll add, if one can't 'protest' without hiding one's face, then one is afraid to identify with the issue at hand, is up to no good and very likely an anarchist.
Perhaps, but we need to wait at least until a law is broken before arresting them. It could be that they're just trying to look intimidating. shrugging shoulders
