New York State - we've got a lot of everything. Mountains, lakes, coastal areas and beaches, small towns, big cities, hustle and bustle and everything in between.
Sorry, dude... but Minnesota is the most northern of the lower 48. : /
But Maine is beautiful, so there's that. : )

Darien, Connecticut: Despite the mansions, the congested freeway, and the fact that it's a suburb of NYC, it still has that small town vibe. :)
