When I consider the reasons I'm not rich, they have more to do with my own flaws than any external factor. Sure, I wasn't born into money, but I live in an age where it's easier than ever to get rich, it's only my failure to seriously pursue my fortune that has stood between me and it. If I was more driven, more focused, less prone to idle pursuits, I'd be rich right now, no doubt or question in my mind. So I tip my hat to those who have put in the work to get it done. Are they smarter than me? Some probably are, but the difference is focus and drive, not raw intelligence.
You know that intelligence is a turn on.
No, some rich people are really stupid, and a lot have inherited their wealth, from Daddy.
Just being rich doesn't mean super intelligence. But if they got rich by dreaming up a great invention or curing a dreaded disease or writing the great American novel, I'm pretty sure they are smarter than I. I'm happy for them!
You really are kind.
I am certain that many are.
But....many are, in general.
Maze was correct about drive, that has much to do with earned fortune.
Not anymore than someone poorer than me, being dumb..
Maybe they chose a better family to be born into?
What is in your bank accounts has nothing to do with your intelligence
It would be shallow and ignorant of me to give an absolute yes.
No, it usually just means they've had better opprotunities that they took advantage of. But opprotunities and smartness do not always go together. Sometimes they can actually go the opposite direction even.
Nope.. look at Trump
If we passed a law that meant you couldn't inherent money maybe it would be a slight indicator but with so many factors beyond intelligence it's quite tough to say. We would first need a society that didn't discriminate against those who have less
I have known lots of rich people. In most cases, they did not know how they did it, they only knew that it took a lot of effort. So if it doesn't work for somebody else, they assume it must be because he is lazy.
