All the people from Sodahead were looking for a place to settle and were trying all kinds of sites. They are spread out all over the place.
i dont even know how....
I googled....where can i voice my opinion about the election. This is the first place i hit upon.
It's good to have an outlet when it seems like the world is burning around you
How is the overall mood in the states? If that is where you are. Especially with this recent stuff with the FBI director and the blatant obstruction of justice. As a Canadian I'm watching like you would a building on fire. A mixture of "is this really happening? " and "I can't look away"
Fractured. Some excuse the administration, regardless of its ineptitude.
Others....like myself, are outraged, almost daily. Of course it does something outageous, almost daily.
Still others, try to ignore it all. I sometimes envy them:]
The one thing that I've said time and time again is Trump will cause more good ultimately.
It's clear now how broken the system is, and that is everywhere around the world. This growing nationalism is a trend and Trump isn't the cause he's a symptom to an underlying issue, and the worse he does the more we see the need for change. Similar to how Bernie did so well, there is a demand for a new and better system and things need to get worse before we can see the dystopia we live in
That is true.
I can't remember.
Some (like YouTube and Google) are so famous that it's difficult not to know about them.
Some of them are online tools that I found by googling. Others, I just stumbled upon them.
In the case of Amirite, I learned about it from a friend who, like me, was from SodaHead, and mentioned it to me after SodaHead died. I wasn't in the mood to check it out at the time, but several months later I decided to check it out and, well... here I am. :P
But there is at least one site that I visit everyday, that I invented myself. No, I'm no Mark Zuckerberg. It's a small personal tool that I use to keep track of my Japanese language learning (sorry, it's not released to the public).
Thanks for the contribution!
No problem! :)
That's about it..
Often I find them through using google and asking, the best or most popular website for XYZ etc
I came here via friend referral after SodaHead's bubble burst.
stumble stumble stumble
Often stumble upon them,Sometimes reccomended and there's good old DuckDuckGo!Stumbled across another forum like this this week for seniors so I joined it!
I found the first one, Care2, when I was 'researching' the effects of fluoride on small animals and wildlife. I found SodaHead through a link on Care2. I discovered what FB was, when my boss and co-workers would be huddled around a computer screen, instead of doing their jobs.
This one, I discovered through a network of friends, after SodaHead unceremoniously gave all of us the boot.
I found Sodahead by accident I can't remember what I was searching for but it wasn't a social media site, Facebook I caved and signed up when Sodahead closed, and this site I just stumbled across it.
I usually find stuff by accident when looking for other stuff
