Post as many as you want....let's remember all our Veterans, active and non active and those who gave their lives for our freedom. Bless them all!
Thanks. My patriotism makes up for the lack of yours. I'm very patriotic. Heck, I tear up when our national anthem is played or I see our flag in a parade.
I even teared up in church yesterday, I was blinking back the tears because we were singing God Bless America. I just hope no one saw me. lol
Not all of us are patriotic....my son doesn't own an American flag either. lol
Maybe you are more patriotic than you give yourself credit for...you think. We put our flag up usually the last of March and it hangs until usually the last of November. And today I have small flags stuck in my flower bed.
Most of us keep our flags out all the time, and yes, there are a lot of flags, and fireworks on the 4th of July. It's one of my favorite holidays.
Congratulations on the 150th....I'm sure that will be a fun day.
I'm assuming you are at work today? No holiday for you?
Lunch sounds interesting, but the meetings....BORING!!!! LOL
Our meetings were OK, because they always served coffee and donuts. lol
Bummer. If a meeting was in the morning and ran into lunch, lunch was catered in. I worked for a great company. (family owned).
Bummer. I worked for a company that loved to eat. They supplied donuts for everyone on Fridays. lol
Great song, thanks for sharing, Johnny!
I'm surprised you don't. You fought right alongside the rest of us in WWII. Nov. 11 is called Veterans Day here.
Yesterday at church the Pastor mentioned Canada as being our little sister, and we won't let anything happen to you. And went on to say how much we love you Canadians, and everyone stood and clapped. And of course I thought of you and your service to your country, as a sailor. I'm proud of you!
