It's what is in a person's heart that makes them beautiful not what is on the outside
Exactly! But unfortunately, a lot of people seem to give more attention and time to their outer appearance that to actually grow their inner beauty
Sadly that is so true.
Great post & welcome to the site
Thank you :)
Most welcome :)
And that kind of beauty will never fade
Treat people the way you want to be treated..
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I agree that there is a lot more value to a person than how they look. But if you're arguing that you should develop your internal character because you will always have physical shortcomings in comparison to others, couldn't it be said that there are internal shortcomings too? Someone is always going to be smarter, funnier, more hardworking, whatever than you.
What I mean by this isn't that we should all just stop trying. I just think that it makes a pretty strong argument for doing what makes you feel happy and beautiful, whether thats external, internal, or some combination of both.
Well that's a good point of view!
It's always good to offer more than your appearance.
Are you one of the older members of Amirite?
No I've just joined yesterday:)
What other sites have you been on?
And what is it ?
Loyalty, commitment, dependability, sensitivity when warranted, strength, attentiveness, ...
Heart & Soul.
Now THAT'S beautiful:)
Looks can sometimes get your foot in the door, but they won't keep you in the building.
Beauty, personality ..... it is all subject to an opinion and everyones opinion is different.
What we have to do is be happy about ourselves, that will make us shine and that will attract people and of those people you will be connecting with those from 'your tribe'. Like minded people and when you connect the various variates of beauty of a person becomes apparent.
Of course it is all subject to different opinions, and I agree on most of things you've mentioned.
unfortunately, as I mentioned before, some people spend and waste their time thinking only about their and others' outer beauty, other than growing their inner selves.
ah yes, I completely agree with your post, I just as usually blabber on about the same thing, lol .
Haha that's not a VERY bad trait ;)
lol, I am glad you say that, it could be irritating.... reminds me of your other post, talk less, listen more. Sometimes a lesson I need to learn too.
But without people like you, who would we listen to, to learn from ? ;)
haha, and you I am sure of it. Have a brilliant day.
That's why I have a good job and know how to cook. Ha!
and I totally rely on my dark sense of humor. And the fact that every one of you will die some day. :)
Yeah those little doggy get the most attention for being cute... but they're usually the least behaved as well...
I've long learned not to judge people by appearance, that's the worst someone could do. Honestly I think we learn best when we get mistreated or neglected because our unattractive traits as well as appearance. Our own life experience shapes what kind of a person we become, one of my main rules of morality are never to look down on other people who're doing worse and never to treat someone as less because of lacking attractiveness or charisma.
Външното несъвършенство може да се прикрие или промени с времето, но вътрешната грозота остава завинаги.
