Today...well, except for my tinnitus, but there isn't anything I can do about that. I spend at least some time every day in silence.
Aha! Something we have/had in common... I used to get that once in awhile...it's like having a seashell in your ear.... I was told...you just get used to it after awhile....and then suddenly it went away...just after I did get used to it...
I've had it at least since I was 17, and while it is sometimes more/less noticeable, it is always there.
This weekend I had moments where I sat in silence. I normally do not like to do this because I tend to do something completely stupid. My emotions get the best of me when I sit in silence to long.
Every time the girlfriend goes home.
D'you think this is what she is saying as well?
I'd ask her if I were ever able to get a word in.
I know people like that...
A good meditation for her would be to sit in silence for an hour...
Yeah, I'm not much of the kinda guy who can get into non-meat eating, tambourine playing, meditators.
It's not for you...it's for her...so she can still herself.
Could you maybe try that one again?
I can leave this alone or I can respond. What?
There is no silence. When you think there is that silent voice starts making noise.
That's when you are supposed to listen to your breath...inhale...exhale.
Not that long ago...
