Self, .... why, this is crazy talk! I was told again and again on Wednesday, right here on Amirite that no one wants violence, that everyone is sad.
Dammit Self I was blocked, (sniff, sob), when I dared to suggest that (choke, cough) this shooting is a logical escalation of hatred! BLOCKED Self! I can never talk to those people again! They can't even read this to see how upset I am over it!
Yes, I'm fine with the First Amendment. It's when those hippies start shooting Republicans that I start having a problem with it. Where do they think the money for their EBT cards is going to come from if they kill off all of the Republicans?
I know, right? I mean, it's not like hatred and vitriol feeds on itself and gets out of control or anything. It's merely coincidence that famous people like Madonna publicly announced her desire to burn down the White House, and what's his name Snoopy Dog shoots the president in a music video and a comedian - oh, so funny, held a severed head of the President. It's all just harmless chit chat! No one would ever ecpect some weak minded troll to actually go ahead and do something like shoot somebody! It's not like they're yelling "fire" in a theater or something.
So, it's actually healthy for all this.
Of course a couple days ago I was chastised for guessing the left would feel exactly like those sick comments in the article.
Yeah, yeah, first amendment - I get it.
Now, you get this - self control. Cuz this shit is getting out of hand!
(And, I apologize in advance, cuz I need to leave the computer now won't be back til Monday)
Republicans are much more level headed people. The idea that a Republican would shoot at a group of people just because of their political affiliation is simply ludicrous. Liberals are the most violent creatures known to man. Liberals do not tolerate well educated and well behaved people.
There does seem to be a genuine effort underway to destabilize the US, but it's much bigger than the Dems, it's a global effort.
Why do I think this?
Well, what got me thinking about it was the CBC, Canada's state broadcaster, and how incredibly biased they are in their coverage of US politics. During the election, they called Clinton "the most qualified person ever to run for president" in one segment, and the next segment is some guy explaining why Trump is an "ass clown". They'd do political reports that interview 3 guests, and they all agree, they're all on the same side. What kind of bullshit is that? Not even the thinnest veneer of balance or impartiality. If you had been getting all your election news from the CBC, you'd have been absolutely blindsided by Trump's victory, because nothing was ever shown that supported that side, only Clinton. So obviously they're not intending to give people an accurate picture of what's going on, presenting all sides in an evenhanded way so the public can decide, no, that would be news. Their coverage is clearly intended to influence public opinion, and that's propaganda.
So why was the CBC working for the Clinton campaign? And why are they undermining Trump? They're a state broadcaster, they should have standards of impartiality. But this thing is bigger than Ds and Rs, it's about globalism versus national sovereignty, and globalism is a many tentacled beast.
