Good song. :)
Nobody likes the music I like on this website, but idc
here's the opposite mood
That might be a bit backwards skr3w. I like a few ne-yo songs. That one was pretty good and I thank you for it. There are actually quite a few pop and rap songs that I like:
I just don't like lazy pop or rap. I like music with a deeper meaning.
Yeah, I don't care about deeper meanings, it's a capitalist industry, all the music is to make money unless it's put out for free, the deeper meanings are hollow to me. I do appreciate songs with allegory and symbolism, but I like music for more than that, I'd listen to poetry and read books if I only cared about that. I like interesting melodies, I like figuring out what makes songs catchy, what kicks and snares are used for which genres, where people draw influence, trends in music and music culture. I follow hip-hop closely because there is always a lot to dissect in a song with such a new and rapidly developing art culture.
but on the whole this entire site really does not like the music I like any more. Back in the day there were enough people that I could find people who liked what I liked, but nowadays everyone hates so many genres it's absurd to me. I have a profound respect for all genres, it hurts me to see people completely bash any one genre.
