Is that what an 8-track looks like?
No, but they both used tape so very similar in principle. I think the compact cassette tape superseded the 8-track tape.
I'm with her. I'd love to find some
Jane is looking for Dick... Aren't we all...
I can't reply to that statement with a straight face.
Ha...the things they try to teach kids...
Oui Oui mon herr. And vot do you like?
Fast car; nice lad. What else is needed?
A motel up ahead.
I didn't see you as a baby...
I don't put pictures of myself on the internet, or use my real name. I'd love to play along, but I'm not compromising on that.
I guess we'll never get to know you better...
Are you sure you weren't part of the movie: Hair?
When I was about 2 years old, there was a little girl who got her tongue stuck in this glass coke bottle. She was all over national news, and the whole thing freaked me out. Nostalgic, but you said a lovely image, not a traumatic one so here's tweetie bird instead
I'm so sorry about the little girl. Was she okay after all?
Oh yeah she ended up fine as they were able to removed it in time
Sad. Who but you might know that?
For watching a movie at a Drive-in?
Yep. They used to also supply a heater for your car when I was young. Drive-in's are all but gone now.
The image isn't showing up... Grrrr :(
I can see it...but it does look a bit moiréd. Sweet little girl doing homework...oh I see...nostalgia for you...
You can see it?? I wonder why I'm not able. All I can view is ADA's cassett image, tweety bird, and the two small gifs. I've tried jpg and png formats.
Oh, dithering is what you're seeing, not moiré :) I was hoping for an old look when I did that... oh, well - glad it came through. Thanks a bunch for getting back to me :)
Dithering is always a good replacement for seeing. :)
Try looking at the site with a different browser just to see if the images come up.
Much appreciation and thanks for the tip, Jim - doing that worked for me :)
Glad it worked for you. Happened to me as well. After seeing it worked, it guided me to just changing my settings in the browser I has problems with.
Wow. A lot of people...
I'd like to know what the 2nd part of the sequel idea is...
I wonder if kids today know how to play...
They do around my neighborhood. The boys across the street are playing basketball in their driveway all the time.
But not hopscotch. lol
How depressing... But it must have been a new - and interesting - material at that time...
Ha! Try 60s...
Karen Allen & Jeff Bridges circa 1984.
Never heard of it...
Those were the days...my friend.
They've come a long way baby.
