Some problems can't be solved, just let her cool off because your efforts to fix this will only make her angrier

When you portray love, affection, and attention, and they think you are "controlling", move on.
When you give the space they say they want, and they think you are being "indifferent", move on.
Who needs it? If the "reward" does not warrant the effort, it's time to go.

Unfortunately, love can humiliate, and rarely allows one to take one's own advice.

When they deal with stress by isolating themselves.
