I never worry about my glass being half full or half empty. I just refill it.
Yeah but it's not what the post is about.
Well, I thought it was funny...

The grass is always greener on the other side.
Look at every comment and try again sukie
Thirsty person: I'd like a whole glass of water please.
VicZinc, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be, we could have saved the cost of making it so big and paid the workers more.
wine connoissuer - that wine is not good enough to drink more
my family- give it to me, I'll drink it!
The realist takes the glass and drinks it
Yin and Yang
I was hoping you'd follow the example given in most comments
Realist — glass of water.
Two ½ s make one whole!
Probably not... but I'll give it another attempt
Optimist – The drink must have been good because they’re saving it for later
Pessimist – The drink must have been bad because they didn’t drink it all
Computer nerd – Water must stay in the glass because it’s bad for the computers
Theater Guard – Outside water isn’t allowed to be brought in the theater
Capitalist – we could separate the water and the glass and maximum the profits
Communist – we must split every drop or water and glass equally
Bill Clinton – “that depends on what your definition of ‘is’ is”
I thought someone didn't think there were any "rules" in commenting...on a game, too.
That's was a request, not a rule forcing me that I must do this or I must do that, demanding I follow a rule that was just randomly put in place on the spot and specifically targeted me and only me.
There is a huge difference between asking a number of people, including you to try again... and demanding people to change to the point it's no longer a game but it's work.
Because if you put too many demands on others, they're now trying to cross the t and dot the i and it takes all the fun out of the game, meaning it's no longer fun or enjoyable... and it then becomes unpaid work.
I want fun, not worrying about if my silly nonsensical game post is perfect pleasing to an overlord.
Or maybe "po-TAH-to"
If you weren't here I wouldn't talk to you. This is NOT official talking.
Okay, so this is unofficial talking then?
Well I'm glad there is talks.
It's just how the game goes sukie, if people start chasing each other in hide and seek the game wont work. As you see everyone else just did it.
This is about what-his-name....Sunny. I totally understand.
Need a smaller glass
Observation and asking questions: If it is being added to or filled, then it is halfway to be full. If it is being poured out or drunk from, it is half empty. Wherever completion of the task takes it, that is where the halfway point is. Projecting your own feelings onto the cup of water does not change what is actually happening with it. I know this to be a realistic way as to how we could view this whole half empty half full dilemma.
More methodical: If using the cup appropriately, you'll fill it, and deplete it, over and over even. If it is sitting, drink up so you can focus on the next task of filling it once more.
Interesting comment, it does make sense and sounds like a good argument. Although it's way too complex for a simple post like this.
Life is complex. 😊
