Despite what older people like to think, overwhelming research (you can Google online) show the younger generation these days are actually having less s*x and doing less drugs. Teen pregnancy and teen birthrate have also gone way down over the decades in the US. Why is this the case?

They are all to busy looking at their phones.

Personally, for 2 reasons:
Principles based on my religion
Too busy trying to better myself

Can't speak on the rest of my generation since I've always felt kind of distant from them

Wrong. Drug use has not gone down. They simply changed their drug of choice.

I think the difference is the perception of what success actually looks like. For example if we've gone from horrific to terrible - that's technically improvement, and some nimrods are willing to accept that. Perhaps older people that McLie is complaining about have greater expectations.

Largely due to increased contraceptive use, teen pregnancy and birth rates have declined since their peak in 1990. But 750,000 teens become pregnant each year – the vast majority (82 percent) of these pregnancies unintended.
