If it involves hurting animals, they will not only NOT be a friend, but will fast become an enemy.l
I agree. I don't care if they are a relative. Anyone who harms a child or an animal, I would not tolerate.
Kim Bassinger said there are three groups in this world that need protection. 1. babies, 2. the elderly, and 3. animals.
But most people eat meat don't they?
I think you nailed the answer here Linn. A real friend is someone you have to both respect and trust.
I doubt it....there are some people I don't wish to be friends with.
Really depends on how bad the flaw is, I don't like people who smoke but I wont cut them off because of it.
Depends how cool they are to hang out with.
I'd just have to take into account that flaw if ever it'd weaken my trust during an important situation. I'm not sure how clear that is but I know what I meant, lol.
I’ve had to adapt and accept their differences. Made me a better person.
Sure. maybe I could learn from them.
If somebody was a child rapist. I'd probably no longer be their friend. And likely have a hand in them meeting God to replace that friendship. :)
If that flaw they have in my sense of morality included vindictiveness or willfully inflicting suffering on other beings...no, I could not.
If my friends didn’t have outstanding character flaws.. I wouldn’t be human.
