Better to keep quiet than to say something hurtful....just saying.
When you have nothing to say, silence is indeed golden.
It can work both ways..... when an explanation is warranted, then silence is a coward's way out.
Sometimes you just have to be the better person and say nothing at all
That's true, but sometimes silence can hurt when nothing has been resolved...just my opinion.
That is true too. I think it just depends on the situation. Some cases silence and be hurtful and others it can be the best thing ever.
It certainly beats saying something hateful. Speaking the truth is great, but not if the real motive is to hurt someone or elevate your own standing.
I agree Jan.
Don't worry about what others say....but I do understand what you're say.
1. animal abuse
2 elderly abuse
3. child abuse
4. Being okay with hate groups
These are just a few examples that I will never stay silent about, for then I become part of the problem, and not part of the solution.
