Obviously I determined at an early age that people who I perceived to be alike should love each other....
SurPRISE... they don't look alike after all, lol :)
I was taught to love all people - regardless of what they looked like.
I learned later that some people, again regardless of their appearance, can be real toadstools, unworthy of any attention at all.
