Separate vacations. Why not.

After how many years of being together shouldn't one consider the possibilities around taking separate vacations...amirite? They say absence makes grow fonder...hmm.

Apparently they're really increasing in popularity. There's even travel agents that specialise in them and also just singles travelling in general. I'm on a vacation on my own right now.

@Sukiesnow How is it? Get in a lot of surfing? How's your arm...

I've been out twice but the surf hasn't been so great. Still swimming lots though. Yes my arm feels heaps better, I'm honestly didn't expect it to feel so much better. There's no pain and I have full motion again.

Every couple I know that takes took separate vacation eventually got divorced.

If you need to get away then you don't belong together.
