While President Chump is attacking the mayor of San Juan, she's literally wading in water using a bullhorn to find people.

He is incapable of caring about anyone but himself. The sad part is that I've come to expect it from him.

The President is getting the respect he deserves. In fact, you could say that Micheal Che was action quite presidential during his tirade.

I'm skeptical of the "Two 10-Year-Old" story. When it gets picked up by a reputable site I will give it more thought.

She sounds just like Ray Nagin in NOLA back after Katrina who blamed everyone else for his and the governor's and their administrations to do what needed to be done. BTW, Nagin is in prison on almost 30 counts of fraud.

Everyone here is attacking Trump over Puerto Rico this morning. I have a question for those doing the attacking. 1. What more could the US being doing in Puerto Rico (realistically) than it already is? Keep in mind we are still doing cleanup from the two hurricanes that hit the US.
Ex.
FEMA said it had more than 700 staff on the ground in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. They were helping coordinate a federal response that now includes more than 10,000 federal personnel spread across the two Caribbean archipelagos.

In Puerto Rico, federal workers supplied diesel to fuel generators at hospitals and delivered desperately needed food and water to hard-hit communities across the island. Cargo flights are bringing in additional supplies, and barges loaded with more goods are starting to arrive in the island's ports.

San Juan's international airport handled nearly 100 arrivals and departures on Sunday, including military and relief operations, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. The Pentagon dispatched the Navy amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge, which provided helicopters and Marines to help with the relief effort onshore.

Take the name "Trump" out of the equation and tell me what anyone else could/would be doing? Or is this simply yet another excuse to bash the president?

@JustJimColo Everyone here is attacking Trump over Puerto Rico this morning. I have a question for those doing the attacking...

"Take the name Trump out of the equation", and Puerto Rico might not be 12 days out, without the aid it desperately needs.

Face it, Trump decided to go after the NFL, while turning his back on Puerto Rico. And just like Bush, with Katrina, he will pay a heavy price. Not with his "base" of course, who would stand by him, even if he decided to take a dump on the White House lawn.

@dru18 "Take the name Trump out of the equation", and Puerto Rico might not be 12 days out, without the aid it desperately...

You didn't take the name "Trump" out of the equation Dru. All you are doing is bashing Trump without giving any narrative on what ANYONE else could have done, and how they could have done it better. By all accounts, the response and aid provided has been outstanding.
Have you even looked at the shear volume of what has been provided? It's starting to sound like some people don't want us to just provide the toilet papre but want is to wipe their butts with it as well.

@JustJimColo You didn't take the name "Trump" out of the equation Dru. All you are doing is bashing Trump without giving any...

No, it, has, NOT, been outstanding.

FEMA fumbled the ball, and so did Trump (as always).

And stop with the Trump crap of Puerto Ricans wanting everything done for them. You have got to be kidding.

People in Puerto Rico can't vote for the president, but they sure have a lot of friends and relatives in places like Florida, who can.

@dru18 No, it, has, NOT, been outstanding. FEMA fumbled the ball, and so did Trump (as always). And stop with the...

Again Dru, you aren't thinking rationally. How much has been delivered to Puerto Rico? Have you even looked?
FEMA had 700 personnel on the ground along with 10,000 federal personnel almost immediately. Supplies were going in faster than they could even handle them.
Of course people in foreign countries can't vote for the president. (And look at the billions in taxpayer dollars we are sending their way. They also don't pay income tax to the US) As to their influence in the US, they shouldn't have any influence in this country any more than Mexico..... and look at how many friends and relatives they have in the US....

@JustJimColo Again Dru, you aren't thinking rationally. How much has been delivered to Puerto Rico? Have you even...

And once again a half story is told, no doubt by the conservative media. The supplies while being delivered have not left the airports, by trucks, as of a day ago.

People are not getting access to meds, water, food, and as of very recently, fuel. And that particular mayor, who the Trump has chosen to go after, (like the NFL players) doesn't even have it the worse, which is scary.

@dru18 And once again a half story is told, no doubt by the conservative media. The supplies while being delivered have...

I suggest you do your homework Dru. There are thousands of shipping filled shipping containers sitting on the docks over there.

JIM, they are not receiving enough aid or fast enough! Why in the hell would you dispute that FEMA or the government has screwed up, like that has never happened before.

Oh that's right, because TRUMP told you that everything was working like a well wound clock.

@dru18 JIM, they are not receiving enough aid or fast enough! Why in the hell would you dispute that FEMA or the...

Dru, have you ever been part of a relief effort? Do you realize just how much goes into restoring an entire Country? Do you remember the hurricanes that hit the US over the past decade and how many weeks it took to restore all services? Here, we are talking about an entire country. Look up what has been done. We had people on the ground before the hurricane even hit, preparing for relief operations. Now you think a president snap his fingers and all the problems go away? You need to look up what has been done instead of focusing your obsession on hating Trump.

@JustJimColo Dru, have you ever been part of a relief effort? Do you realize just how much goes into restoring an entire...

Have I ever been part of a relief effort? Yes, back in the flooding of 93, but that is not the point.

Trump has treated Puerto Rica like a step child, and has taken to going after the Mayor in his usual juvenile way, while she slept on a COT!! And I just love his visual antics of throwing out paper towels, while giving himself a big pat on the back. What a lying narcissistic asshole.

It should never have taken this long, and over half of them are STILL WITHOUT POWER!!

@dru18 Have I ever been part of a relief effort? Yes, back in the flooding of 93, but that is not the point. Trump has...

The mayor, sleeping on a cot? Dru Dru Dru.... don't tell me you actually believe that.
You never did say what YOU or anyone else would have done better.
Resources are a finite commodity. Do you suggest the US dedicate ALL US resources to a foreign country? What happens in the event of another hurricane that might suddenly hit the US?..... Hmm isn't that happening right now?
Wave you liberal magic wand Dru and you will realize it doesn't work.

@JustJimColo The mayor, sleeping on a cot? Dru Dru Dru.... don't tell me you actually believe that. You never did say what...

Ah yeah, I do believe it, for I have seen photos of the island, and no Holiday Inn is standing. Everything is as flat as a pancake.

Nate has nothing on Irma. He was a category 2 when he hit, and then quickly lost power. Irma was a five and was considered one of the worst.

Do better? How about RESPONDING as quickly as possible, and stop fighting with the mayor or giving yourself a pat on the back, for a job BADLY done.

@dru18 And once again a half story is told, no doubt by the conservative media. The supplies while being delivered have...

As to the fuel.... 70% of the gas stations have gas and are open, but they have cut back their hours of being open. (Their choice)

Amazing she was able to get T-shirts and hats made with 'no electricity' while needed supplies sit at the SJ docks. Maybe the generator that was used to run the printing machines for those articles could have been used to help someone in need instead!

Trump doesn't care about anyone but himself and his money. Puerto Ricans can't vote, so he thinks why bother with them.

He should have had help on it's way when we knew Puerto Rico was going to get hit.....but no, he waited for 7 long days before helping out. Now he's saying those people are ungrateful.... how can they be ungrateful, they haven't received any significant help yet.

President Obama had sent help to Haiti after the earthquake with 24 hours, and they aren't Americans, and Trump ignores the needs of American citizens....the Puerto Ricans. I hope some day he will be down and out and won't get any help from anyone.

Trump is scum in my eyes.

I personally question if that is the Mayor as she is always photographed wearing glasses. Regardless, I find in amazing that she couldn't attend FEMA meetings, has 100s of containers sitting at the San Juan dock waiting for PR truckers to help distribute, while complaining that nothing is being done. I also note she is the only mayor going after the administration!

More than Chump would ever do for his own people

FAKE --- that is NOT the Mayor of San Juan!
