I was stationed in Korea in the 80's on a ROK Army compound and had a chance to talk with some of the older country people on the farms. It was really interesting. Some fought in the Korean war and had some great stories. (I'd been through DLI for Korean so that helped.)
Rooster, Did you know there were no trees left in S Korea after the Korean War? Everything was used for heating. (According to those I talked to.) All the trees there today were planted after the war.
Could have been something Chesty might have said but his would have too many cuss words in it. He was something!
