I just thought I'd ward off the grammar folks. :) Yes, losing all the old great singers makes me sad. Last night, PBS had a two-hour special (membership drive) with all the old R&B singers of the 1960s. Little Anthony and the Imperials, The Temptations, James Brown, etc. and it brought back so many happy memories of my growing up years.
Southern rock at its finest.
