This is getting ridiculous now.

When places like Facebook and Google are promoting this crap, you know that a line needs to be drawn, especially when its about something horrific like the shooting in Texas.

It's not only ridiculous but dangerous. They should shut down Twitter, Google and Facebook until get this fake news crap fixed.

I saw an article that said that Facebook had claimed they were running some sort of experiment so that they could lessen the effects of fake news... except they kind of got rumbled on it really quickly.

@StarzAbove Nothing will ever change, they won't censor anyone for fear of losing some money.

Yup. It's all about those dollar bills. Never mind that it was completely the wrong to do it, and they never warned their participants about it.

Greed, nothing more. They don't care what happens to our country as long as they get their money. They seem to forget that terrorists might be doing that to cause dissention among us Americans.

Too bad Americans no longer hold news accountable for the stuff they put out there for consumption. Fake news equals propaganda.

Just a crazy thought: Maybe 'journalists' could actually interview authorities, witnesses, etc and report stuff. You know, instead of taking stuff off the Internet. I mean, it's been a joke for years to say something like - "I saw it on the Internet, so it must be true."

You'd think so, wouldn't you?

The problem is, if the news corporations are messing things up, where do you go to get unbiased news?
