I saw this and thought.....what a great idea!! Ha! the video is only 40 seconds so pay attention. :)
Love cheese. Not much of a drinker.
Ive seen roasted marshmallow shots, too. Filled with bailys, or kalua, or whatever...
Sounds like a good dessert. 😁
It seems to be a Hawaiian name - or a language, etc.
Further, it is one of the spellings of qahwa, the root for the word coffee:
You were close: a nice dessert is often ideally served with coffee or made with coffee.
Ada drools. 乂º◡º乂
Ha Ha! It does look pretty good.
It sure looks like a lot of cheese, for the wine drinker to eat.
Who doesn't love JD not JD but JD you know what JD I'm talking about. 乂^◡^乂
I'm not sure if I like cheese with wine, but it wouldn't surprise me if I did. Recently I ate a piece of cheese with pineapple and I like it.
Never tried cheese with pineapple. However I've eaten papaya with coffee and liked it.
Never tried that either.
Apple and cheese are a good pair, too
I agree, but I'll take the wine too. Ha!
I'll have to try.
Never tried cheese with wine, but cheese with coffee(+milk) is awesome.
How about a picnic?
That looks divine. In that setting, i might even help you with that wine:)
Lol, it was a more or less frugal meal: some bread, a piece of cheese and some wine or soup, and it was also ideal for outdoors, camping or travelling. Today they are focusing too much on fast food.
More modern picnics (in the sixties, for instance) were/are composed of lots of different elements (according to Nino Ferrer's sarcastic song):
I just love your links, marianne:)
My favorite picnic food....a very sharp cheddar, sour dough bread, and soppresatta. Perfection. The gherkins would go nicely with that, too:)
That sounds quite good, Carla - lol.
I would be happy for you to join me, anytime.
Lol - by now, I can only join you spiritually - but that is already a great pleasure.
The pleasure is mine, marianne.
I could live on wine and cheese. Unless I smelled someone grilling porterhouse steaks. 🤣
I don't drink but I still enjoy watching drunken fools...
