You are right, he makes a good point. You only have to look at the rate that computing power has increased exponentially since it's invention and assuming that rate continues, there is going to be some very powerful AI out there.
I don't know about the as always, but yes he makes a very good point on this issue.
Recently they had two AI systems set up trading to see how it would work between two trading for commodities, in part because they decided by themselves to go completely off script and create their own language and couldn't be followed.
But human's couldn't keep up with AI in a fairly controlled and limited setting... if they ever made AI for the military combat purposes, they could go completely of script again, and would be harder to stop or control... in the case above, they finally just unplugged them or shut them down.
I'm sure many of us who are now considered old, have been seeing or reading about this scenario for most of our lives. It does seem like more of a possibility now, in regards to war.
Well there are those stupid guys who think men are better off screwing robots....oh the potential for hacking....heh...first ever Sexually Transmitted Computer Virus anyone?....
Didn't read the article...eh?
I'm kinda surprised you took my comment seriously
With you guys....you never know...
A significant stage of this process is just around the corner, and will only accelerate.
