Sorry about that!
Why is perhaps a better question. I'm not thinking those living below the poverty level the "message" is aimed at are able to afford restaurant fare in the first place, especially one that only serves those with reservations.
Maybe it makes those able to afford to eat out somehow feel "superior"...because, um...not only can they afford to use toilets, they can use them as furniture and eat out of, too?!
HA HA HA!
That was my first thought.
Article says - "The owner of the restaurant, Budi Laksono, is trying to educate people about sanitation and encourage greater use of toilets."
Budi, you know what toilets are for, right?
Not a place I would want to visit at all.
Hey! We can not visit together!
Where can we go instead
Nah, my human instincts tell me not to eat excrement, or eat where people use the bathroom.
What a clever and appealing idea.
I watched the video, and it looked like that might have been spinach in there, floating around in the murky broth. I like spinach and all, but yeech. The restaurant owner's 'mission statement', makes no sense to me, either.
The group pictured seems quite the jolly bunch...I wonder what's in those "brightly colored" cocktails.
Well, the group pictured looked pretty jolly before those brightly colored cocktails were dished out, looked like to me.
It is in indonesia, people probably don't even have indoor plumbing. JRST EWWWW, nasty is my impression here.
